Why is a bill not being sent? How do I know what to pay?
Not received a bill yet

Hi, I have recently moved to a variable Direct Debit whilst remaining on a fixed term tariff - I have submitted meter readings and not received a bill so I have emailed and messaged on Facebook to ask about the lack of a bill... I've not had a reply from either places.

Without a bill you will pay nothing as you are on variable DD. The level of your bill can only be guessed at by comparing last year's prices with these year's - we don't know when your Tariff commenced.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. @meldrewreborn Kind of my point! Without a bill I can't pay... so to speak. I'm hoping that Eon will pick this thread up as they have with others that are similar since they've failed to respond and of course they'll know all my account details, but thanks for replying.

Don't sweat it. I've been waiting four months for a bill. I'm sure one will come along in due course.

long may it continue - once the lack of bills goes past 12 months they can only recover the final 12 months. -
Have you looked at your Transactions section on your account? Are there any entries in there? Have you ever had a DD taken (fixed or variable?). Submitting a reading for me has always resulted (almost instantly) in an actual transaction figure generation (for electricity) and a provisional (for gas) that becomes an actual within a day or two. Bill generation for my variable direct debit another 1-2 days after that with the Direct Debit amount clearly listed and the future date of this DD. If I recall the variable direct debit kicked in more than a month after setting it up.
