I've been waiting ten days for a £700 refund. I could only eventually get an answer from their Twitter platform otherwise all other methods have failed. Two emails to them remain unanswered from a few weeks ago back after I gave up trying to speak to anyone on their call line. They sure make themselves scarce and then drag their heels when it comes to refunding. I have kept my contract with them and paid on time with the amount they've asked for - even when its been totally over estimated, but there is no such 'efficiency' when the shoe is on the other foot. My account still says my refund has yet to be 'applied' so I'm not entirely sure its even in the bag yet. What to do next?
Hi @vickyjones, I am glad to hear you got your refund back. I would like to highlight a couple of things in order to clear what has been happening lately.
Our social media team is currently very overwhelmed by the queries and requested we have been receiving. We are aiming to get back to everyone as soon as we can although sometimes this can be a challenge.
When it comes to a refund of over £500, the refund request goes through the financial team, which will run some checks (on our end of course) and then will approve it. Once it has approved this will reach your bank account or will be sent as a cheque.
