An energy supplier has pledged to double the Warm Home Discount payments this year, meaning eligible families will get £300 instead of the standard £150.

Disability no longer qualifies for WHD this year, in and of itself. Have the DWP sent you a letter telling you that you qualify?Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons. -

Do you get any sort of means tested benefit? Without that you are not likely to qualify, and even if you do its not automatic.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless. -

No, the discount is not provided through the welfare system but as a discount on your energy bill paid for by the energy companies thanks to a levy on everyone's standing charges.

@retrotecchie yes i think it said on the letter ftomDWP it was coming from eon well my energy supplier i had it in nov last yr and yr before but im not getting any feedback frpm eon im supposed to be on the priority list because im disabled each time i message them about it because i cant get throu on the telephone i dont hear from them what else can i do
