They have until Wednesday and then I’m off to Ofgem, E.ON next should be offering this and offering it properly. I’m struggling to get the Yorkshire summer winter times and it takes an age to respond. To be frank this just needs nationalising now. Demand flexibility is what the power grid wants so why aren’t they offing at part of the E10 package?
@meldrewreborn I know this but the eonnext specialist told me the maximum bill I would pay was £2500 for someone not in the know could end up with a massive bill if they listened to their advice
if that is the advice you were given it is wrong. But you can’t listen to the conversation to reconfirm that. If you are certain make a formal complaint - they can go through the audit log and listen to the recording.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@KCSH180 the times are posted here https://community.eonnext.com/thread...onomy-10-times though getting them to set your meter up for it is another thing altogether. Our meter is stuck between E7 and E10. They have put us on E7 timings for prices, but the meter is switching at E10 times. Ofgem have refused to help as EonNext say they don't do E10. 6 months of misery. The engineers understand but the rest of them are clueless.
So frustrating talking customer services in the morning 2 people said I had economy 10 I asked for an update bill to be sent then economy 10 disappeared and every other agent said it doesn't exist
@Bigald yes we have had 6 months of this 'doesn't exist' line. Despite even installing us a new E10 meter only week ago ( doesn't work as they won't sort the tariff out). 3 EonNext engineers have told us they fit them all the time. You'd wonder why, if there is no tariff for them. We have a bill from April for E10, they won't even believe their own bill ! The Ofgem ombudsman said he knew they didn't do E10 as he'd googled it. He then sent a bizarre message saying he accepted EonNext still had E10 customers but they weren't on an E10 tariff, or getting the E10 off peak times. Quite what makes them E10 customers he couldn't explain. We are giving up and trying to get them to put the meter on E7, they haven't even managed that yet. Fourth engineer visit due next week.
I've got 2seperate meters a time clock to switch the off peak on and 2seperate fuse boxes this all started because I asked for a full E10 meter so all the house went onto off peak not just heating they virtually called me a liar when I said I had an off peak tarrif because off peak doesn't exist

Are you sure they were eonnext employees that fitted it, the last time we had a meter change, the engineer was apparently employed by Siemens who were contracted to do it by EDF (the original electricity supplier for the region) and our electricity supplier was yet another company (now probably bust). This was before smart meters were rolled out though.
