Hi, I have just been told by your web page our annual bill is now in excess of 12,000 pounds. We live in a four bed roomed house and our heating is by oil and our cooking is byn bottled gas, how can our bill be this high please?

The online accounts may not be updated correctly yet but this one takes some beating.

I think you have two choices here. Either sit tight and see if it gets amended to something sensible or contact customer service by any means here

If you choose the latter you will probably wait hours for the phone to be answered or days for a response by other means.

The first thing you should do is check your previous bills and total up what you've used over the last 12 months, in kWh, doing in in £'s isn't of much use. If eon-next are forecasting £12,000 it will also quote what they expect to use in kWh. Compare the kWh figures and if they're significantly different then take it up with eon-next. Doing it this way means that you have hard evidence than they cannot dispute.
