Although the rates have now been corrected my DD payments are still showing based on the Ofgem increase. It also won’t let me change it to the correct amount as only allows you to lower it by 10%. Hence my payments will now total £1k more a year than my estimated usage. Has anyone had any feedback from Eon regarding this and when the DDs will be updated to correct amount?
If your DD hasn't been adjusted by £67/66 for the Government assistance yet it may that they are changing accounts in stages.
Is your DD imminent or is it due more towards the end of the month?
If it's the latter it may be worth wait a little while to see if it gets updated.
@Andy65 thanks for your reply. My direct debit payment is set at me paying approx £3500 a year at £296 a month (Ofgem rate / 12) and the 67 taken off of this. However my actual estimated annual amount is now approx £2500 a year so should be this divided by 12 at £200 and then the 67 taken off that. I am hoping they are doing things in stages and hopefully DD will show correctly eventually but it’s definitely unnerving. Not due till 20th so fingers crossed sorted by then. I don’t think I’m the only one. Trouble is you message/mail Eon and they are so busy they aren’t replying
I think I'd give it until next Monday and see if anything changes by then, then you've got 10 days until your DD. Hopefully they are doing changes by DD date, they could have avoided a lot of worrying and being bombarded with queries if they'd simply said how they're doing it and what to expect and when. It's not difficult really.
