Meldrew, I don't think you're being very nice when you try to cover up your own lack of knowledge and your limited area of comprehension. You accuse other posters (me actually) of making nonsensical statements and of being unable to count the number of days in a week. If you wish to apologise that would be acceptable, but at the very least you should try to make your future posts less insulting.

@GSimpson
If monday was the 3rd October and today is 7th, then between the two dates is 4 days. I call things as I see them. -
@GSimpson
Waiting for a pending DD payment to be allocated to one's account has always been done this way by Eon Next. Provisional/Pending transactions invariably get allocated within a few days but seldom on the same day and usually takes 2-3 days. Can they be allocated any faster? Probably/Possibly but personally I'm not going to get in a lather about it until it is patently clear that it is never going to be allocated, or worse if it goes out the bank and never sees it being pending. -
That's very funny Meldrew. Have you thought of going to Specsavers to improve your sight so you can see things more clearly? Surely you know that between the two dates is THREE days, those days being the 4th, 5th and 6th.
You are complicating very simple matters ....
Usually your posts try to be helpful, but getting things so obviously wrong makes readers lose confidence in your replies. -

Meldrew, what is this silly response supposed to mean? You've given me the same reply in another thread, and its use was equally nonsensical there. Does it have a particular meaning for you? If so, please share. -
You two would appear to be going completely off the subject thread with your jibes at each other. Come on, call a truce and lighten up

@GSimpson
And accepted.
