You'd like to think so, but as of this morning I've had no response from E.on other than a final bill (yes I've left them!) for entirely the wrong amount. They switched the day and night readings round the day I changed suppliers, they then corrected it the morning after but sent a bill based on the wrong figures from the day before. My new supplier have confirmed that my readings were in fact correct because they can actually see my smart meter E.on never could.

I gave my meter readings to E.on every month on the dot yet the morning I changed they decided they were the wrong way round, changed me based on that, then swapped them back again 🤣

So I'll now start court proceedings which I have no problem doing whatsoever. perhaps if E.on replied or even looked at their email, WhatsApp, twitter messages etc etc they wouldn't be in this situation; they either look at them and can't be bothered or don't even bother to look in the first place, who knows if anyone is even there!
