it scarec through life out of me to, they should at least put a statement out, I was told they would pull start meter readings too so I'm not sure on whether to send meter readings in just incase, is anyone else who is on smart meters sending readings in today reading?
Our smart meter didn't send any readings either, and is still showing the old tariff information. This whole thing is a nightmare.
As @sc489 said above, you can't access online accounts at the moment, so hopefully they're getting it all sorted out.
@Batch0x0
I noticed too that you cannot log into your account. I also see there is now a purple shaded box on the log in page mentioning that our bills will be correct etc.so hopefully they are sorting their errors out, most likely to all the complaints they will have received.
No doubt they'll mess it all up again like they did when eon next took over, hopefully not though as I don't fancy going through 3 months of trying to get things all sorted right again.
@Beki_EONNext the rates seem to have been corrected but a lot of people are having problems with the Direct Debit amounts.
Mine for example is set at £296 a month which is what it would have been with the Ofgem rise and totals £3540 a year. However my estimated annual cost with the EPG rates as shown on my account is £2473 a year which divided by 12 is £206 a month. I am also approx £270 in credit. When are the direct debit payments shown going to reflect the correct estimated annual cost? The payments that are going to be taken do not reflect the right tariff and its worrying and distressing to a hell of a lot of people. Nobody can plan or budget. A courtesy email saying you are aware of the problems people are having and that you are looking into it would go a long way to ease peoples minds. No one is getting any responses
@Lynn0771 From today, the tariffs are now all set up and you can see your new rates on your account that are inline with the EPG.
I appreciate that it has taken us a lot of time to update this information and we have sent messages out on our website and customer accounts.
@Beki_EONNext my app is still showing the incorrect energy usage though, it says for electricity up until the 6th October I've used 11 kwh at a cost of £5.43, the gas is incorrect also if ive used 11 kwh at 33.02 that should be around £3.63?? My ihd is showing the correct amount that I should be paying for electricty but it's got my old fixed tariff rate fir the gas
@Deviljane666 Sounds like you need a IHD tariff update. You can pop a message through to the social media team and they will be able to do that for you. Please bear with us as it's super busy at the moment. As long as it's in your actual energy account then your IHD can be updated no worries 😊
@Beki_EONNext I sent a message to the social media team on Saturday and they still haven't replied, someone in customer services said it would up date by Fri midnight, the electricty tariff in the ihd is correct but the gas isn't plus the energy usage in the app doesn't look correct to me
@Deviljane666 I know that usually the team are so fast at responding, but we have seen such a crazy high demand from customers, that we are taking a few days to get back to queries. We really appreciate your patience.
