Hello,
My variable rate is showing at the higher as if it was still the Ofgem limit from today, any one else's showing this and not the new lower rate announced by the government? -

Same here. My NextFlex account has jumped from (Electric) 27.100p/kWh to 52.07p/kWh.. And Gas has doubled too.. 100% increase from day 1?
Yet my monthly payment hasn't been adjusted..
What a mess!!

I have check my rates this morning and they are also higher than that quoted in the previous email for the 01/10/2022 rates.

Yep same here, currently 17p more on elec and 4p more on gas. And its Saturday and you cant contact EON, how convenient.

Trying to get hold of them on WhatsApp because their lines are conveniently closed on weekends. I'm sure I'll be waiting til Monday for a response though!!

Yep mine is the same. Also my Direct Debit has been calculated as if it’s the Ofgem rate too and not EPG. which equates to £1k more a year and I’m also in credit! Managed to change the DD to lowest I could to 10% less but it’s still too high. Hopefully it will sort itself out soon!! Would be nice if Eon sent a courtesy email saying they know there are problems and they will be fixed! This in turn would stop a lot of enquiries and set peoples minds at rest.

Also, my smart meter still shows the old rate, hopefully it will update to the new rate soon and not like the last increase in April which took 4 months of constant messaging back and forth + phonecalls to get sorted. Now today I don't know whether I'm charged what the smart meter says, what the website says or the EPC, I can guess it'll be the highest rate.
What a shame we can't swap suppliers easily.
