EDF have published their about 10 days ago. Eon will probably be similar but there is more chance of a variation with economy 7 I think. If you look through my back posts you'll find them - on my current device it's hard for me to locate them.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@Andy65 im on a fixed tariff and thats less that what i am paying now why havent i been told of this by eon next ?
I can only guess @garyfrog. They are no doubt under a lot of pressure with all of the changes that need to be done and they are also being inundated with queries.
I would think that the priority is to ensure that the £66/£67 is deducted from all electricity/dual fuel direct debits and applied correctly to accounts. Then all tariffs need to be adjusted for October 1st and communicated. If it were me I would do it by popularity of tariff, so I think that would be the Next Flex (which I'm on) and then on to the fixed tariffs.
I'm not making excuses for eon-next but I can imagine the amount of work that needs to be done and as frustrating as it is, I think we need to be as patient as possible.
The other thing that may be causing delays with information are smart meters. A VERY common request on here is that a customer has changed tariffs and their IHD hasn't been updated with the new prices. Anyone who has a smart meter is going to need their IHD updated with the new tariff prices. In theory it should happen automatically but.....
you will be very shortly - nearly all customers face price change this time and it varies by region -sometimes a very great deal - and its super complicated.
here are EDF prices under the governments price guarantee - Eon next's will not exactly the same.
The standing charge posted by @Andy65 looks like the price EDF list for the east midlands, but the peak/off peak prices are very much different - higher day, lower night.
I'm within the Midlands area @meldrewreborn so the prices I've been given from eon-next are marginally cheaper, far from anything to get excited about in my mind. The East Midlands and the South East are on to a winner on the Night Rate, significantly so.
