Hi @jamesn, thanks for taking the time to post! I hope you're well 😊
Over the weekend we've identified a number of accounts affected by this issue. It seems to be linked to customers who have migrated to us from Powershop; the root cause being an incorrect code applied for their "final bills" which closes things down on their side.
We are looking into how we fix this ASAP; but please know the charge is NOT VALID and will be removed in the next few days, it does not need to be paid. Thank you so much for your patience while we work on this for you.
Any questions give me a shout :)

nice one, thanks @BethS - glad I didn't do anything wrong and get charged
FYI I got moved to eon next from npower select, and have since switched to Octopus but waiting on my final eon next bill. Dont know if that has anything to do with it
Thanks again -
Ahh that's handy to know @jamesn, thanks for letting me know! I'll feed this back in case they aren't aware it's affecting Npower Select customers too :)

Hi. Asper @jamesn, I have had £92.70 taken as Default on 16-Jun-20. I was also Npower Select. I have not since switched, so this has impacted my current balance

Hi @duerdens
A fix is going into place for this today so the removal of the charge should be updated in the next day or two :)
If for any reason it's not, let me know and I'll chase it up!
Thanks

Only a 50p Default. My bill received today shows a Default charge of £280.87. My auto direct debit is due on 9th July. What do I do?

My post from yesterday regarding a Default charge has not appeared yet, so I am trying again. This screenshot explains.
