New DD Confusion
-
My account is showing my revised DD or October which is correct, although I've yet to receive an email about the change in DD. The tariff rates won't change until they become applicable on the 1st October.
Although it's difficult I think we need to be as patient as possible. -
For the record, my revised DD is also showing in my account and is £67 less than my current DD but is still reflecting my current tariff which is not even in the ball park of expected October rates.
I too have not received an email or letter. Still, we’re six days away from October yet so I’ve got a few days yet before the anxiety starts to build.I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit. -
@FPX
Hi mine is saying the same. It is showing i am currently paying £146
then says on the 6.10.22 il be paying £114
and then from the 1.10.22 il be paying £79.40
so which is it? £114 or £79? Will it be both of them added together coming out? I dont understand. Ive been trying to speak to someone since last week and can not get through to anyone.
Can someone clarify this for me please? -
I rang up this morning and got the DD left at the original - and there were two lines on screen - one showing current DD of £92.39 - and the next saying from 1st October I'll be paying £25.39.
Just logged on again and the 1st October line is missing.
I wish I'd never even rung them to begin with.
Can somebody else look and see if their 1st October amount is showing this afternoon? -
£92.39 less £25.39 is £67.00 which is the government rebate. no need to ring up!Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

from 01/10/2022, you'll be paying£43.00
Each month on the 1st -
Just rang up again and he's had to somehow redo the DD on the system at the higher price of £43.27 instead of the original £42.26 - and that is now showing from 06/10.
-
From what I gather it'll the one quoted for the 6/10 - the £114. Seems if you do ring them they cause more confusion - and some of the staff don't understand what's going on. -
@FPX it would help if i could actually speak to someone everytime i ring..or email...or tweet....or facebook....or whatsapp haha
