With the amount of enquiries they're currently getting I think you'll have to wait a lot more than a couple of hours. It's far from ideal but it is what it is at the moment.

No, they're extremely busy I think @Fifi. I'd suggest waiting 48 hours (I know that's not good when you need to sort things out), if you haven't received a reply by then contact them again. They're dealing with queries via Whatsapp 24/7 so hopefully it won't be too long.
My Direct Debit of £215.00 should come out of our bank account on the 20th of the month, which would be 20th August & 20th September 2022 & in our account we should be in Credit. What is happening to my Account? We moved house on 1st August 2022. E.ON took all the details & we had a credit transfer of £123.56 & since then no Direct Debit payment has been taken, though our bank account details are exactly the same. E.ON emailed me to say the payments would be taken on 20th of the month in August & September 2022 & it shows in my account that we have a Direct Debit of £215.00 each month, but nothing has been taken out. What is happening to my account? We are now in Debit where we should easily be well in Credit. Can someone get in touch to explain? Thank you.
