Have emailed them already & will ring tomorrow.
Thought someone from E.ON might see this & help....
They lurk around sometimes but without an obvious schedule! They maintain the forum is not an extension of customers services but have been known to help on many occasions. Just not as often as we'd like.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Emailed E.ON @ hi@eonnext.com, unhappy@eonnext.com & ceo@eonnext.com, tried ringing, but so long on phone gave up - no response to any. Absolutely fed up. I know this is a customer-to-customer forum, but not sure what else I can do to get E.ON to take our Direct Debit correctly out of bank & apply it to our account?
At the moment, you simply have to be patient with your communication with E.on. If you are really concerned about the fact that they have not taken a DD for August and September, you could always simply send a payment of £430 to keep your account up to date
I have read here from a staff member that responses can take up to five days so don’t give up hope. If your DD problem becomes a dispute you can refer them to this thread as evidence of your desire to get this sorted.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
I could easily pay the debit of around £80 arising from E.ON not taking our DD for 2 months now, or pay the two months DD, but would like E.ON to actually sort out the problem rather than putting a sticking plaster on it.... am also writing to them at their Coventry address, though with a Postal strike, that will be held up too!!!
Some of us just like things to be right and to pay whatever we need to, whenever we need to. I may be mistaken but I suspect, like me, @ViviS falls into that category.
Definitely... it's odd because usually when you owe a firm money, they whisk it from you as fast as you can say "that's mine", but when they owe you money, it takes ages for them to reimburse you. Patience isn't really my middle name, but will just have to wait for them to sort it out...
