This is pretty much my assumption after emailing and asking to be moved from v19 back to SVR - I was told there was no need as the fixed tariffs will be adjusted to fall in line with the EPG.
I could still insist on going back to SVR I suppose, but will wait for the official figures to come out. How I read that response is that the fixed tariff will be no different to being on SVR - in fact I don't think there will effectively be such a thing as SVR or fixed, it will just all be EPG (unless you have been lucky enough to fix under that rate). -

as I read it standing charges will be October 2022 OFGEM rates for the variable EPG . For fixed rates the EPG rates will apply if they are lower than the contracted fixed rates -but i’ve Been wrong on this several times already.Last edited by meldrewreborn; 14-09-22 at 16:14. Reason: Spelling
