I hope I'm ok to create this thread and that it's in the right place.
I'm trying to teach myself a few things that will improve my posting skills as it takes me a bit of time and practice to work out how to do 'techy IT stuff'.
Here, if allowed, I'm going to try linking other posts and stuff outside this forum into my posts so as to avoid describing where I want people to look in a long-winded fashion.
Bear with me if you see some nonsense posts following this one... what do you mean, 'All my posts are nonsense'?
I've had a little private instruction but if anyone cares to explain things to me in simple terms then please fire away.
I'm going to start on my PC and then see if I can progress to my iphone.
Ok... here goes 😉
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

When you're ready to add a link in a post, clink the icon shown with the arrow in the picture below. That box will then appear and the word you want goes in 'Display Text' and the link itself goes in the 'URL' box at the bottom.
