I'm confused by the bill maths on the app. I've apparently gone from in credit last month & having only used half of the monthly bill cost this month, to being in debit. How can I be in debit when I have only spent half and was in credit before that? It's confusing
Can someone explain the bill maths?

Hi guys,

Check to see what your meter actually reads and look on your bill to see if there are any estimated readings. That could be the cause of what’s happened. -
That has also happened to me. This is something to do with the direct debit not yet being taken from your account. It should balance up once your payment has gone through.

Good point. My DD goes out about a week after by bill is produced. If I check my balance in the period between my bill and DD then it’s not as healthy as when I check it between the DD being taken and the next bill coming in.
I can see how this can confuse things and if you’re just basing things on your account balance then you need to be sure you check in the same period every month.
