Not been offered the £50 but I'm already saving £ with V4, compared with SVT. It's not a fortune but anything better than nothing. 😊
Don't forget you only pay the exit fee of £75 if you jump ship completely and go elsewhere. 👴
I asked the question about exit fees if the fixed rate was terminated and got the following response: "That is correct it would apply if you were to switch back to the variable rates". That didn't give me the confidence to make the switch but I suspect the response varies according to who answers the question.
Maybe the £50 offer is in response to people like me who have been reluctant to accept the offer - but the current inducement is certainly very tempting!
Oh well, just made the switch to V4.
The advertising says "An exit fee of £75 per fuel will be applied if you change supplier before your tariff end date", so it's not clear if it's possible to switch back to the variable tariff should this become a cheaper option. But for the time being I am pretty pleased!
