Smart Meter not sending meter readings

    Hi,

    moved into a rented property at beginning of may, and took on the Electric contract from previous residents.

    I can see that the two previous monthly readings (before we moved in) were made via the Smart Meter, however, since we moved in, no smart readings have been taken. Leaving us with lodging our own meter readings, or leaving to Eon to estimate...

    Any thoughts?

    We have a Smartview2 device in the kitchen telling us how much energy we are using each day, and that has picked up the account number, and presumably, because it is showing about £2.00 per day usage, is connecting to the Smart Meter.

    Quick update : Eon have been in touch - looks like a visit from an engineer is required to resynch / reset the smart meter to start sending readings again.
