Have you recently set up a new direct debit? π€
It's possible if new bank details were recently added then there may not have been enough time to set it up & take the payment on your chosen date. It can take up to 10 working days for your new details to become active as we have to communicate with the bank etc. When this happens your first direct debit payment would be taken the following month, I would suggest in these circumstances to make a one off payment. You can do this in your online account, through the app or by phone. π
