We live on a newish estate of 20 houses. All on the same supply and postcode. At least 3 houses are still on E10. Everything we were told was a lie. Noone had ever explained why some houses had their E10 terminated whilst their neighbours were able to keep it. The ombudsman said they had to take EonNext's word for it despite us giving them proof. I do not understand what they are for, if not to be impartial.

I’m not aware that suppliers are obliged to offer certain tariffs, so while most offer E7, E10 has been quietly retired by many. I’m unaware of the manner and quality of complaint handling by the energy ombudsman, but several threads here have expressed disquiet with their decision making. Of course here we tend to get just one side’s version of the facts, and as royalty has observed, recollections may differ.
Nor can we observe the cases that are actually submitted.
Eon Nexts customer service is not rated highly, but I tend to have complete faith in my own ability to get the outcome that I believe to be correct, so I’ve no particular reason to move elsewhere. But disaffected customers certainly should.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless. -
@meldrewreborn we were on E10 as were three other houses. Two were taken off and not informed, two were left on it. Adjacent houses. All with EonNext

Have the properties no longer on E10 had their meters changed? Smart meters really don't support E10.Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
