It's beginning to sound like your IHD has developed a fault. I notice that none of the indicator lights on the bottom are on either, did they stop working at the same time?
What about the other options, Home, Budget (Calendar) and Settings, do they work?
I know you've said that you've already restarted it @Rmb but it may be worth turning it off, wait 10 minutes and then move it as close as you can to the comms hub by your meter and then switch it on again. I doubt that it'll make any difference but it may be worth a try.
In the photo you've posted, showing what you've used so far on that day, does this still update?
You could try downloading an app called Bright. I use it and it's quite good although the only downside is that it doesn't show instantaneous use, but it does show usage down to 30 minute increments.
Hi yes tried leaving it turned of for about 20 minutes and stood next to the meter when I turned it back on and still know joy.
It does update the gas that I have used and when i use it.
I will give that app a go and see what that is like.

@Rmb have you had the chance to double check if the actual smart meters are actually active as well?
Sometimes it can happen that the signal or communication can get lost which means we need to reconnect it from our end.
