@DebF_EONNext That's is utter rubbish. The government has not laid out a defined method. You can credit any person paying by direct debit with the £66 to their energy account. You can reduce their direct debit by that same amount. For goodness sake are people like you robots or have a working brain?

Please refer to our community values @SteveE9 whilst I understand your frustration please remember to be kind and considerate of others. I can see that @meldrewreborn has posted a link further up the thread to the official government page outlining how the EBSS will be paid I think you may find this helpful 😊

Hello,
I can’t seem to find an answer to this query anywhere. But, Eon reduced my DD to £133 to account for the first £67 payment from the £400 government scheme.
However I want to keep the DD at £200 so if I change it back (which I have) will I still get the £67/£66 payments credited?
Many Thanks -
@DebF_EONNext And the only time an EON staff member suddenly shows up is to rebuke someone who is rightfully frustrated at your company's utter inaction?
I'm sorry Deb but that is an absolutely horrendous look for a company in the middle of a customer relations disaster. -

Hello, I moved into a property in February with old style prepayment on gas and electric, I’ve never managed to update my details and can’t get through, I’m worried if they email or text vouchers I won’t get them , only if sent to my adresss via post will I receive them, I’ve been on phone for hour and still not got through, can’t get any where on WhatsApp either

@Emmamary
Sorry to hear that. I suggest you raise a formal complaint so that your issues get to somebody with the authority to resolve them. Are you saying that basically the account is still in the name of the previous occupier, and in effect they just handed you the meter key to keep on using? -
Hey @Emmamary. I'm sorry you've had a long wait we've been busier than usual across the business our energy specialists are working as quickly as possible to get to everyone. If you have sent us a DM or message on WhatsApp then someone will get back to you as soon as they can. It will make things quicker to get sorted out if you have your tenancy details to hand as our energy specialists may need information from this to get your account set up for you 😊 -
@DebF_EONNext when you will be giving vouchers for prepayment customers?
