Yea I will go for option 2 and freeze myself to death because elected liar-leaders and their global internationalist liar friends decide to follow the words of a creepy school drop-out from Sweden and destroy our energy security. Brilliant. Maybe if global corporations didn't take our tax money to pursue bankrupting ESG policies and greenwash themselves all day long we wouldn't have to freeze? We haven't got enough electricity now, can't wait until there are 40 million Electric Vehicles to charge (hint, there never will be, the world hasn't even got enough copper to supply batteries manufacturing for Western Europe alone. But that wont stop them trying of course)

But you mistake correlation with causation. Most of the EU contracted out its dirty energy supply to countries like Russia so they could Greenwash themselves, rip us off and pat themselves on the back at the same time enabled the Putin situation in the first place. Don't blame Putin. Putin is ding what any rational thinking person over the age of about 12 knew Putin was going to do. Even Trump, mad as a box of frogs, could see it and when they were warned, they laughed. Not laughing now are they. Hopefully ESG will be thrown in the dustbin of history where it belongs before it bankrupts us all.
