So a couple of months ago my account has stopped updating meter readings. The IHD is working fine and meter readings on that are correct for gas and electric. I have checked the meter point reference's and both are working in smart mode. So is this a problem on e-on's side?
The connection between the meter s and Eon next is quite complicated but whose responsibility it is can't be readily established. But it is for Eon next to pursue.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
@meldrewreborn I have spoke to e-on a couple of weeks ago about it but I have had no updates on it other than they will put down I am interested in having new meters fitted when they are next in the area? Which seems a bit daft if both meters seem to be working as they should.
if the meters are working and the IHD is getting data then its the network connection that has the problem. Eon next should send and engineer to investigate and resolve, not offer the vague prospect of replacement meters at some time in the future.
