Hi, I have been moved over to Eon Next from Eon where my Tariff was Fix Online v45 running until 9th July 2022. According to the FAQ on The Eon Next website it states the following: Will my tariff remain the same? If you’re on a fixed tariff, your tariff name, prices and end date won’t change. If you’re on a variable tariff, your tariff name will change, but nothing else will. Like now, your prices may change as a result of the regular price cap review. I had a response to an email I sent stating that I was switched to The Next Flex tariff on 20th Feb. This contradicts the information I have read on the website in the FAQ. Can anyone shed any light on this? Obviously I pay for the energy I use regardless of the set ammount payed by direct debit, I can be in credit in summer months and pay extra in winter... does this make it it a variable tariff and only the term the tariff runs for is fixed? I assumed it was fixed as the price per kilowatt doesn't change. Thanks in advance.

Your fix tariff should apply to July and then you might have the option of another fix if one is offered at the time. You should not be charged the flex tariff which is the variable price capped tariff. You need to contact customer service and get them to change the tariff. If you have tried this before without success make a formal complaint.
