From 06/10/2022, you'll be paying £49.98 on the 22nd of each month
From 01/10/2022, you'll be paying £0.00 on the 1st of each month

Which has now changed to:
You're currently paying
£45.00
Each month on the 1st
From 06/10/2022, you'll be paying
£45.00
Each month on the 22nd

This is before the £66 gov credit debacle.
nobody seems to be able to tell me if this double payment is going to be taken and like I said before eon is ignoring its customers on social media channels.

@sandco I truly understand that the messages are confusing. Basically, you won't be paying each month until March (unless you choose to) and the remaining credit from the £66/67 government amount £11/12 will be credited to your energy account.

Oh @meldrewreborn, I cannot begin to even tell you how inundated with messages we have been, both on the Community and on social media. We have also had holiday and staff sickness during this period so our team of 6 has been reduced to 3/4. I appreciate that I haven't been in contact much and for that, I apologise.

Had a bill arrive this morning and it seems that they have added a manual credit to fix the wrong unit prices being charged. So im being charged 55p a unit but then theres a manual credit of 17p a unit being added.
I seriously hope eon looses customers over this and they all go to octopus who actually seem to care about their customers.
