I have spoken to eon advisor on phone and they are trying to get situation resolved lets see what happens. I will wait for progress with them before coming back on forum if it is not resolved
This issue has now gone on for over 3 months now. Despite the assistance of an advisor called Sharmila who tried her best the gas smart reading is still not being sent to eon and only electricity is sent.
Previously advisors on the phone could not even connect and pull a gas reading but sharmila in april got an engineer to come out and see the smart meter. After work was done She was then able to connect and pull a reading for gas.
We were hoping that as a result of the engineers work the gas would now be sent to eon next on 17th may. This has not happened.
Whatcis going on with the gas meter and why does it keep failing to send a reading even after the engineer visit.
This is getting very stressful because of the need to keep phoning and giving a manual gas reading.
Spoke to sharmila and another colleague who said the gas smart readings can be pulled and meter is communicating. Could be that gas smart reading was waiting for gas billing cycling to finish before sending it as gas smart reading was taken late in april. Sharmila will keep an eye on account and is hoping both gas and electric go on 17th june.
