Hello,
you have more than doubled my direct debit amount, but my account is well in credit as I already use a lot less energy that I pay for. I am in credit in the winter…imagine this summer.
I understand prices will increase but I would like to decide how much I pay every month based on my consumption.
Is it possible to reduce my monthly payments to £80? I keep building up credit and it’s not something I am happy with…
You can ask for your credit to be fully refunded and your DD set to an appropriate amount based on predicted consumption and current prices.. But you need to contact customers services to get this put right. Arm yourself with facts and then send them a reasoned email. and include your address and account number.
Thank you for your question. What we would be able to do is to run a payment adequacy check and take it from there. You can ask for the refund of your credit at any time. I believe the best option would be to get in touch on Social Media with our Energy Specialist team and they will be able to reply to your query and get your account details and check what is the best option for you based on your situation.
I hope this help. 😄
P.S.: you can also mention that we (from the community) re-directed you and if they can run a payment adequacy check you would be able to have a clearer idea of your usage and tariff. 😀
