Best way to try and get this done for you is to email hi@eonnext.com with your name and account number and Tariff Update in the subject. Ask them for an IHD tariff push and they should be able to sort this for you.

The solution is to send a message to E.On next requesting a tariff update. Remember to include your name account number address etc. It'll take up to 10 days, but can be quick. The updated rates appear after midnight.

No, but the energy companies have rolled out new tariff data to smart meters following changes to the January price caps and it may take a day or so for the numbers to settle down. You aren't being charged the displayed prices, it's just the IHD hasn't synchronised to fresh data.
Try switching the IHD off for an hour or two, then switch it back on and allow it to reconnect to the meters and do an update.
