I got my last bill where they took a meter reading from the Smart Meter on the 19th of March 2022. Which said my reading was 2534.8 , today I went to add my reading and it said it was 2879.4 which is 344.6 difference in 12 days !!!. How is that even possible?
My meter reading for earlier in the year was :
January 19th - 2318.3 to February 19th - 2438.4 = 120.1 units
February 19th - 2438.4 to March 19th - 2534.8 = 96.4 units.
No apparently from March 19th at 2534.8 in 12 days has used 2879.4 which is 344.6 units which is over 3 months during that time.
When I rang up to speak to someone I got told to wait 2 weeks and see if the numbers keeps going up which makes zero sense as that jump already tells me that is a huge error.
@meldrewreborn That is what I thought. I wrote it down and took a picture with my phone to make sure before submitting the reading. When I went to submit it on the app it said it was too high. So I rang up and spoke to someone that was not helpful who then marked down that reading as my current reading. Which then took me from £22 in credit to £99 in debit. This is incredibly annoying.
