I pay direct debit monthly and my last 3 bills has only had my electricity charge on my bill and no gas bills. Has anyone else had this as concerned I'm gonna get stitched up with higher price. I'm £275 in credit so don't know why they haven't been taking gas payments aswell with being on a smart meter
A lot of customers who have recently been switched to Eon next have had issues with their gas smart (allegedly) meters not sending readings because of failures in the switching process. It is important for you to log the issue with customers services and if possible log your reading manually in your online account, particularly now because prices are going up tomorrow (1 April 2022). Today however, lots of other customers are trying to do the same so to protect yourself take a picture of your meters showing the meter serial number as evidence and try to log the readings in the next few days.
