How convenient
When trying to submit a meter reading, the website is down.
Clear evidence that Eon trying to prevent its customers submitting a reading before the price increase tomorrow.
The websites of a number of energy suppliers have crashed because of the exceptionally large numbers of customers seeking to do just what you have tried to do.
Its not a conspiracy, just a server capacity issue.
@meldrewreborn
I didn't say it was a conspiracy, just that in 2022, Company websites really shouldn't be crashing because of usage.
They're all going to rake in wad loads of cash from this hike, maybe they can use some of it to improve their Cheapo 'GoDaddy' Web build 🤔
I'll not pick legal arguments with you, but you said openly that Eon was limiting customers ability to log readings deliberately. While we might hope for better this outcome was entirely predictable, given the huge increase this time and the publicity that has been given to it.
@Ozzymarc
The phone option is down too. Message says States I am calling Out of Office Hours. That was at 15:45. Despite advice to e-mail I can't find an e-mail address to contact. As previously stated, other provider's websites are down too.
