Just a quick update, we're aware of some pretty hefty issues on our website and online accounts today.
We know this isn't ideal as it's the day you all want to give us your meter readings - we are working super hard in the background to get everything back online ASAP!
This has of course meant our phone lines are busier than ever with quite long wait times, we're also seeing much higher demand on Facebook, Twitter and email so it's taking us longer than usual to get back to you.
Please bear with us, if you did want to provide a meter reading today because of the price cap the good news is as long as you've taken the reading today we can enter it at any point and backdate it to today so don't panic if you can't get through. Just keep it safe!
I'll be back to update as much as I can throughout the day as we get things back online.
I've been trying to access my account online but the system does not recognise my details and when asked to reset my password an error meesage comes up saying there is a difficulty and to try later. None of your phone lines are working either.
I’m having exactly the same problem. Details worked just fine yesterday. Today they are not working. Which is worrying considering it’s imperative we submit meter readings today before price cap lifts. I would be more understanding if my bill went up by the expected 54% as opposed to more than doubling.
