For about three or four months now, when I go back through the week and look at my consumption each day, regardless of what it said the night before, the amount used is usually between one or two pounds. So for example, yesterday when I went to bed, my meter said I had used £3.26, this morning when I look at yesterday’s reading it says I used £1.38.
it was much more noticeable in the winter when it was regularly over £4 when I went to bed but never showing more than £2 the next morning.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Are you talking about the in house display rather than the meter itself. You can note your readings from the meter to check your daily usage. Then you would be able to tell (consumption times unit price) what the correct amount is. It could be that the unit rates in the inhouse display are wrong , and perhaps using different rates for today calculation and yesterdays calculation.
I think @Beki_EONNext might be able to get the meter and inhouse displays refreshed with up to date data which might resolve the issue.
