I have real concerns about the apparent ease of posting on the forum Help and Support.
Today there are three post by different people which are exactly the same and are not in anyway appropriate and have a very dubious link at the end.
I report to Twitter and they say we will pass details on and to forum admin who it appears are sleeping on the watch.
Hi @Silverfox - they've been reported and we are working with our IT specialists to find out why they're working their way through - and more importantly, making sure it's fixed so further posts don't slip the net like these have. As soon as I have more information on it I'll update you :)
@BethS Hi Beth it been a few weeks and nothing has been done so far. I was told by Hattie once dont worry the cavalry's on it way. Must have been Custer's 7th and we all know what happened there don't we? Thanks for message though. Being admin myself I would have removed them without having to be told on my sites.
@Silverfox While I’ve reported them I’m afraid I don’t have the necessary admin powers to remove them (yet!) otherwise they’d have been gone first thing this morning / last night ☺️
@BethS There are even more blatant posts today. Beth you are wasting your time waiting for a reply from the supposed IT people. Absolute disgrace for an energy company to be run like it is.
It’s typical of this company’s approach that they can’t even employ decent anti spam software on their forum! Even basic free forum software has anti bot tools built in
it must be frustrating for the staff to work for such a badly run company. If they treat their customers like this, imagine how they’ll treat their staff. Or don’t imagine, ask all the NPower staff they kicked to the kerb.

Reason: against values
As with every diverse community, there is always a mixture of opinions, knowledge as well as understanding - that’s what makes it such a great place to be! To make sure everyone gets the most out of our Community and feels good doing it, we’ve created some values below on how to be an awesome, positive member. So, take a read and then go for it!
We love having you all here in the Community and really hope you find some great advice and help from our other amazing members. As a community team, our main role here is keeping things ticking over, everyone safe and getting involved in some great conversations! We know many of you will have specific queries about your accounts and we want to keep your personal details safe so please don't post them here.
• Saying thanks goes a long way
• The community is a public website, so be careful
• Be kind, respectful and supportive
• It's a family-friendly community
• If you’re in a specific section or discussion, try to stay on topic
• One post is normally enough
• Be cool, don’t spam
We want to ensure that the community is safe and fair for everyone…
We all work hard to ensure everyone feels respected and supported while using the community, and keep that positive energy flowing. If a member or group is disrupting your experience without a genuine reason, you can report this to the community team quickly and easily by clicking the 3 dots on the post. Don’t worry about a thing, we’ll take it from there. If you get a message from the team about your behaviour, please try to work with us, as all we want to do is make this a positive place for everyone. In order to this, we have to uphold these Community Values and the Community Team has the final say.
