I've been trying to call E.On Next on there standard number for over 1hour now, trying to figure out once again why my bill is never on the same date so i can pay it.
Every month i have to ring and contact them to pay them, even though i have a smart meter.
My monthly payments started at the 1st of every month, now gradually over the past 2 and half years it's moved from the 1st of every month to now 15th but not even today because once again no bills come through, so i need to find a way to contact EON but there OLD eon number sends me to call Eon NEXT, which everytime i call it just hangs up before any sort of ringing happens. Very frustrating, i have to do this every month but this time getting in contact is near impossible.
We are having a little tech problem with the phone lines atm which is an absolute nightmare but thankfully you have found us here on the Community - it's great to have you here!
I've just had a little look into your account and it seems that your smart meters aren't being told when to send readings, so I am updating that now for you - would you like your bills to be issued on the 1st?

How did you manage to find my account, i had to make a seperate account to use your community forum page. but if you know my details and know my account info then yes please by all means. 14th of every month would be perfect thank you. Also i still need to pay this months bill that hasn't come through yet, and i've been through this atleast 30+ times on the phone with your staff and it never works. but i hope you may be able to figure it out for me.

The Electric i have to put in the meter reading manually. if you can keep the GAS bill to come for 14th every month that is fine and i can put my Electric meter reading in manually every month thats fine its what ive been doing for a good while now.
I'm still waiting for my bills to come through though, i've put my Electric meter reading in 2days ago. and should have my Gas bill by now but dont.
anything you can do about this?
@Doz Awesome news today! (It's been a great day for news so far and it's not even lunch time!)
As of the 14th March, both your meters will send readings (I've popped a reminder on to check) and also I have polled a reading from your gas meter from the 11th Feb and billed you to that and released the bill. So next month, you should not need to send readings for either! 🙌
