We've had the below IHD since we moved in almost 6 months ago, it was all working fine until approximately 2 weeks ago, when I came down one morning to check it, the gas supply was showing 'waiting for data'. It has now been that way ever since even though I have restarted it several times and even moved it right next to the smart meter itself.
The electricity supply has continued to show on the IHD with no problem at all. Any ideas as to how to fix this?
Mine also has done this about the same time ago, if you put it to the screen you have in the last image does it also come up saying "Gas Supply Disconnected?
Hi, I have the same problem. I moved to EONnext back in Sept. My IHD stopped working as soon as EONnext took over the smart meter. Previously the same unit has worked fine with two different suppliers. There is nothing wrong with the IHD - It just no longer gets the signal from the smart meter. I reported it on 25 Oct but no progress. I have now emailed Unhappy@eonnext etc 4 days ago - not even a response. I shall raise a formal complaint. One of the major selling points of smart meters was that users could look at their usage. I advise everyone else to raise a formal complaint.
I have the same problem - it is something to do with Eonnext loading their software or config. onto the smart meter. They don't respond to the problem hoping it will go away. It is not the display unit.

I was googling the IHD model number to see if there was any useful information on it and noticed there is a 'Bright' app which allows a phone to display the same sort of info as the IHD. During the process of installing this I had the IHD off for a while so not sure if it was this extended off period or installing the app which got it working.
I had a similar thing but failed to notice I had moved the IHD about a meter to the other side of the TV.
I placed IHD on top of the smart meter to get the connection and then moved it to it's old location. if you get the connecting message when the IHD is on top of the meter then there can't be any doubt something is wrong.
