I transferred from Igloo to EDF about 5-6 weeks ago before all of this kicked off. I had a credit balance of over £200. This has not been transferred to EDF, so I phoned E-on next just now and the line keeps cutting out. Who has my money......Igloo, E-on next or EDF. I am a pensioner and need this money back
Hey all, so with these transfers from companies that have ceased trading, it is out of our hands as we await these payments to be transferred. It is a case of waiting I am afraid but they will be transferred over. 😊 I understand it is a very distressing time and not an ideal situation. If you have any questions or just need some friendly advice in regards to your energy account with us at E.ON Next, please pop me a message on Facebook/Twitter and I'll be more than happy to help.
Sending positive energy to you,

You need to be patient; the money will not have vanished or got stolen. There are regulations that protect your money, but don't take my word for it, get advice from CAB
@Joan1953 Me too Joan, Igloo has £114 credit belonging to me, they don't seem in a hurry to transfer it (5 weeks)!
That's life, so just take a chill pill and wait a little, and if necessary you would need to follow up with a polite complaint after a further fortnight.
I had an email on 14 October telling me my credit balance of £322 will be refunded in 7 working days. It’s been 8 working days and I’ve not received anything and not had an update. I don’t need to be told to be patient. That’s patronising, irritating and unhelpful.
Beki, how do I find you on Twitter?

Actually, being patient is a mandatory lifeskill and is a virtue. Otherwise people won't take you seriously. I have lived on this world long enough to know these things are ***true*** through bitter experience🤔

I know they are true. It’s just annoying being told to be patient when you already are. I’ve had another message from Igloo telling me I shouldn’t have received the first message and the refund will come from the new supplier. So now I know where I stand.
@Lindyj0 That is great that Igloo have been in touch. Has this been sorted for you? If you have any questions or just need some friendly advice in regards to your energy account, you can find u on Twitter by clicking here.
