As you know we're all about innovation at E.ON and E.ON Next. We want to make energy in the home simpler, stable and future focused. Right now we're sharing this opportunity for you to take part in E.ON's "Next Gen Home" trial.
This is a 12 month pilot exploring how smart, renewable technology can power the homes of the future.
At the end of the 12 month trial you'll get to keep your low carbon technologies and continue your service with us for great value energy, along with your sustainable house! Alternatively you can move to another supplier (but we'd be sad to see you go 😔).
You don't need to be thinking about getting an EV as you can still take advantage of this collaboration with just solar, battery and air source heat pump if you don't own an EV 🚙

Well, if selected - you'll receive a tailored energy package which may include:- Solar panels
- Battery storage
- Heat pump
- EV charger
- Home insulation
- Smart energy management system
This is not a sales pitch or an offer, it's a genuine research partnership!
We're recruiting 20 households to take part in this innovation trial. You'll help us test what really works and more importantly where we need to improve. You know we love your feedback! 🤩At the end of the 12 month trial you'll get to keep your low carbon technologies and continue your service with us for great value energy, along with your sustainable house! Alternatively you can move to another supplier (but we'd be sad to see you go 😔).
To take part, you must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Own your own home - which will likely be end of terrace, semi or detached, with a driveway for an EV charger (if you have an EV) as well as space for a heat pump and battery.
- Ideally you'll be an existing customer of E.ON Next or be willing to switch!
- Have a working smart meter.
- Live in West, Central or East Midlands
