Inconsistency in my SEG account

    Yet another IT inconsistency:

Using the account with a browser: "we charged you for electricity - £54.09"

Using the IOS App: "Account balance - £54.09 in credit"

Throughout my journey to EON EV tariff, there has been such incredible IT inconsistency which can only be explained by a lack of testing.

If it hadn't been for the team here and their unwavering support, I would have given up.

I have had dozens of interactions with CS/Community to get where I needed to be - none of which should have been necessary. I could write a book.

I really hope someone can update IT management on this.
Next Drive Fixed V6. Love Smart Meters but don’t trust them enough to stop me downloading DCC 30 minute data via Glowmarkt and comparing with EON billing. EON spot on so far 😄

Note that a negative charge is a credit. The £54.09 would be roughly 317.8kWh

I strongly suspect that this is a SEG credit based on an automatic meter reading (rather than the usual photo). A number of people have reported that they've had small SEG payments directly into their account.

In my case, it seems to be for 592kWh, roughly corresponding to the two weeks of generation from 26th April when I submitted the last meter reading, to 11th May.

If that is the case, it would be nice if it could show up on the meter readings page, because otherwise it is hard to analyse.

@WyndStryke Maybe, but there’s no explanation or paperwork to shine light ! I completed the SEG form yesterday for my exports to June 30th but have had no acknowledgement either in my account or by email. Perhaps all will become clear in time 😀
