Help for Ex-Octopus members

    I'm in the process of moving from Octopus. Can any other ex-Octopus members offer any tips for making the transfer as seamless as possible? I'm a bit confused as to how exporting excess electricity works here as it was all incorporated into monthly bills with Octopus but seems to be different with E.ON

    Thank you for joining our Eon Next community, it's lovely having you hear! 😊 I'd love to give you a little guidance around our export process and how we pay.

    With the payments we do require a clear picture of your export reading, which needs to be sent to us and we can credit your account, the payment then can be sent to you via cheque or directly to your bank account. We can also transfer the credit to your energy account and you will just need to pop us a message. 😊

    'If you wish for the exported units to be paid onto the energy account as direct credit, please specify this at the time you request your payment' 💵

    We pay at the end of the contract, however you can request payment upto 3 times per year, so with the end of year read you can be paid upto 4 times a year. Does this all make sense? Please do let me know..
