So I asked other people in the block and some suggested I buy a dehumidifier, they explained how they work in that they remove humidity from the air which makes the room heat-up faster and also retains the heat better because they dehumidifier will pull out all the moisture from the carpet from the walls from the furniture from the cupboards from the beds and the air will become much drier and will feel much warmer and you will need less heating on this point.
Now I'm talking from experience and the transformation has been quite incredible in that I can easily get my room now to 23/24 degrees in a very short period of time --- meaning that I can turn my radiator off much much earlier than before. I would suggest to anybody who's in a similar situation to buy a dehumidifier, there are some very good ones on the market but you would need to spend about 170 pounds for a decent 12 or 20 litre capacity, they are very cheap to run as a present mine casts £0.09 per hour where's my radiator costs £0.50 an hour so you can imagine the savings I make right now.
No more condensation on the windows in the morning no damp patches on walls and the whole room just feels much fresher. You can also go into YouTube have a look at some other testimonies but I assure you it will be a game changer for your home so please give it a try
