I see @WizzyWigg has basically resolved this however I just wanted to check in.
When I worked in the FIT Team, I used to advise people who experience this issue, to take regular reads at the same time of day, like on a Sunday for example, make a note in a diary.
I've seen so many generators/customers not realised for months and sometimes longer that there has been an issue. It's just a way to future proof your investment. Any MCS accredited installer should be able to assist.
If you could let our customer services team know when you have had the exchange and we can update your records and Ofgems Central FIT Register. We just need the date of the new meter/reading & serial number along with the old reading is possible?
