Hi can somebody tell me why my IHD is showing 2 different balances from my online balances I have reset my IHD to try and correct this but has made no difference. I am on smart PAYG with both gas and electricity and top up online.

The IHD and meters possibly require a tariff update. Send an email to hi@eonnext.com with all your details in the body of the email and 'Request smart meter tariff update' as the subject and hopefully that will get an update for you.

When you say that your balance is different online to the IHD do you mean how much credit you have left? In these circumstances it is always best to check what is actually on the meter itself as this gives you the most up to date real time information. Both the app and online portal don't always update in real time this could be dependent on your communication settings and how often we receive data from your meter.
If however you mean your unit rates and standing charge are showing differently online and in the IHD as mentioned above it may be worth getting in touch with our energy specialists to check what is going on with your account 😊Last edited by DebF_EONNext; 24-01-23 at 20:17. Community Team25-01-23@Avb13I have SPAYG at home myself and I personally just check my meter as it is the most accurate. More often than not my IHD is different from the meter, which is different from the app and my online account 👀 I tend to use my IHD as a guide rather than relying on it's accuracy 😊
