It really is a shame that as an Eon Next customer they do not offer the energy shifting events to all that have half hourly recording smart meters.

Despite changing all the relevant settings in my account I had to accept loops offer for the energy shifting event.

This is just a heads up for those still to be "specially" chosen by Eon Next that there are other options if you are fed up waiting.

I do believe loop take a cut though and if it can be compared they offered me £2.50 for every kWh saved this morning from 9am-10am.

I re-iterate it is a real shame I have to go to a third party for something my energy company should be doing for all customers that qualify.

Sad not to see an eon next response as to why eon next customers who obviously qualify with the correct smart meter half hour slots have to go with a third party to take part in these energy shifting events.
