No statements or bills for months, I don’t pay by direct debit.

I have not received a bill/statement for my gas or electric payments for months.

I switched over from a PAYG key-powered meter to making regular card payments to a CREDIT METER on the E.on-Next app in October 2022. I do not have a smart meter.

I do not make direct debit payments, and can only find information regarding direct debit payments online.

In the app, I can see payments that I have made, but my account balances have not changed, nor are there any statements to download or view.

Does anyone know how often E.On provide statements? it’s been around 3 months now.

Would appreciate any insight on this, I’ve not been able to speak to any E.On representative.

You have switched from old PAYG to smart PAYG. You won't have a traditional account balance per se as you are not buying energy through a credit arrangement. The app will indeed show records of your top up payments.

Smart PAYG customers are sent an annual statement, rather than bills.

Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.

Have you provided any meter readings to Eon Next yet? Are any readings listed in your account? My experience is that bills get generated after meter readings are submitted irrespective of whether readings are smart or manual.

Hi, I’ve just updated my post to include that I do not have a smart meter, I have a credit meter. I submit weekly meter readings for both my gas and electricity accounts.

I assumed it would be the same for me but as stated I have not received any bills.

Do your reads show up in the reading history on your account? If so then there is simply a glitch somewhere that isn't causing bills to be triggered. @DebF_EONNext is probably able to take a look for you and see whats up, as I had a similar issue and she sorted it for me.

At the same time, worth changing to either fixed or variable DD rather than manual payments as you will save nearly £120 a year on your bills, almost £180 if you have gas as well.
