My fixed tariff ended on 8th October, I'm on the variable rate. I've been billed on the 8th but my smart meter hasn't reset to zero it's still showing my last bill and old tariff rates, the last few days usage is just being added to my previous bill so I don't know what I'm using and don't want to get billed twice. My electricity smart meter has reset so just wondering why?

Your in home display (IHD) is a guide - its not definitive of your bills or the value of your consumption. It should however be correct in relaying from the meter(s) the correct consumption data in kWh for electricity or cu.mt for gas.
Your consumption drives your bills so limiting your consumption is key until things are corrected.
I'd give it a week for the IHD to be corrected, then try making contact with customer services.Current Eon Next and EDF customer, ex Zog and Symbio. Level 111-10-22@meldrewreborn the electricity meter is fine it's the gas has not reset, so not sure what I'm using for the gas. Has for contacting customer service that's another hassle I'm having with them they haven't reply to my previous queries never mind this one 🙄 -

Yes I got that -but is your in home display showing the same consumption data as your actual meter. The consumption data should be correct. is it?
