I checked my account today and I noticed that my fixed tariff has increased (!!!), everything increased unit rates, standing charges rates, except of electricity night kwh rate (that decreased approx 50%)? it is impossible to get hold of someone from Eon on the phone or Twitter. I have no communication from Eon regarding the change and I find it strange that fixed rates (Next Online v14until July 2023) can increase. What is going on? Please check your fixed tariff if kwh and standing charges are the same as they were a month ago and let me know. I am fuming!!!!!
Things are still in a state of total confusion and online accounts are still in the process of being properly updated. I think, as difficult as it is, a little more patience is required and as long as you haven't actually had money taken from your account that shouldn't have been taken then things still have time to be put right.
I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.
It's taking a bit of time to get accounts corrected but mine has been done today. As hard as it is I'd suggest waiting a day or so for them to get it right.
